Fireproof: How to Redeem and Keep Your Marriage/Family Beautiful

Fireproof is a movie that had a huge impact in many married couple's lives. This movie really inspired and lifted up souls in ways that is unspeakable. It was touching, heartfelt, and many people could relate in one way, fashion, or form. What is so remarkable about watching this movie is that many of us realized that we are provided with tools from Yahweh our god. These tools provides help for us to build a more loving and trustworthy relationship with our companions. Take the time out and meditate on how really bless you are in your marriage and remember, what Yahweh has joined together let no man put asunder. This page is to provide ideas that you can use to test yourself as a virtuous wife and mother and reminding you of what Yahweh can do in your life were you are an eye witness of redemption. Amen!

 Inspired by Sis Nicole Davis:
  • Take two sheets of paper. The first one, write out all the positive things about your husband. Then do the same with negative things on the second sheet. This is for your eyes only. At some point during this week, pick a positive attribute from the first list and thank your husband for showing this characteristic (or you may do all of them). Take the negative list and secretly discard it (burn it, toss it in the river, be creative)! Once you have completed this dare and would like to share the positive attribute you said to your husband, you may post it under the comments section.
1 Corinthians 13:7- (LOVE) believes all things, hopes all things.
  • Each day this week, strive to show love towards your children by simply saying, "I love you". Don't let a day go by without telling your children that you love them, that they are special gifts from Yahweh and you are thankful for them. Sometimes as parents, we get too busy in our day's obligations, that we forget those simple words of encouragement towards our children. Although our children make mistakes, they need to know that we love them unconditionally. You'll be surprised how this simple gesture of love will impact your children. At some point this week share how this dare is impacting your child or yourself, what did you say to your child or how your child responded to your gestures of love.
Psalms 127:3- "Behold, children are a gift from Yahweh, The fruit of the womb is a reward."
