Teachings from Above

  We are made in God’s image and out from a man we were created. Eve is our mother and was the first woman put upon the Earth. Sarah then followed setting the perfect example of how to honor, reverence, and being submissive to our own husband. Yahweh found great favor in Sarah setting her up as the mother of all in righteousness. With this in mind we shall not forget the mother whom set the wrong example, and she was called Jezebel. She did not follow the ways of a meek and quiet spirit but ruled her husband and made things hard for him. We whom are the daughters of Zion have the opportunity through the grace of Yahweh to choose which daughter we want to be. Our primary goal in life is to work and perfect our ways so we can be able to have the honorable title of being a daughter of Sarah. This book is set forth to aid, guide, and remind us of our place in this world and our place among our family's.

 Let us continue to pray, fast, and meditate to that end. Blessed be the name of Yahweh in the name of Yahshua the Messiah! Amen.

What Has Been Taught

    Have you ever sat back and imagined the importance of the role wife and mother? Have you ever truly examined yourself in the word of God that can make you perfect? Well, lately I have. We have been taught for many years on how we should conduct ourselves and how we should perform as a holy woman. We as wives sometimes fight back emotions of the statement “it’s not fair” within ourselves when the word is preached. Some will come to the conclusion that the minister are picking on the sisters, which we know is not true. Sometimes if we are not careful we could abuse the truth of us being the weaker vessel to push us to react a certain way that is not pleasing in the eyes of our God. If we can take the time out to slow down and hear the words that are ordained by Yahweh and take upon an understanding with faith, we will become brand new in how we live.

     Many of us has been taught through the scriptures of how a virtuous woman should be and conduct herself. We are familiar with Proverbs 31:10 and Ephesians 5:22;
"Who can find a Virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life."
"Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
For the husband is the head of the wife, even as The Messiah is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
Therefore as the curch is subject unto The Messiah, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything. "
    There was a message that came forth strongly years ago about Abraham and Sarah. In this message the bishop spoke about how Sarah reverence her husband calling him Lord. I was born and raised in the faith and I can truly say that Yahweh tends to take us higher and higher to perfection each year with a better understanding of his word. I remember hearing this message and was at awe about what was being said. I believed it was a beautiful thing. I found myself watching Abraham on a regular basis studying the meek spirit of Sarah and how she truly loved Abraham. I found a mother in the church, Mother Brinda whom set a strong example with speaking the words “My Lord.” Then I noticed many other sisters taking the word and applying it to their lives. The one thought that stayed with me continuously was that being like Sarah is more than just saying “My Lord”, but the actions that we as wives and mothers present. I noticed that there was a lot that we had to come up to in comparison to Sarah.

    There are different situations that Yahweh does allow to come up in our lives. These situations are put there not to destroy us but to make us stronger. We as wives and mothers tend to worry not that we are weak but because we just want the feeling to know that everything will be ok. We love to have the power of knowing. Some of the most common situations that we may say is a trial or tribulation which can effect a woman is finance, trust with a companion, and our children. I know there are many more situations but I would consider these the top three based on my experience and being in the truth. With this in mind Yahweh has given us perfect examples to look to when a situation has come in our lives. We are able to grasp on to the women of old in the bible and the mothers within our sanctuary that has been through much. To take hold on faith, the belief that our God is able, the strength the Messiah has brought, and the love of the spiritual. Yahweh has set up a way for us to succeed in our precious roles as a wife and mother and he knows we can accomplish eternal life through it.

    When the word comes forward in a way that is not pleasing to the flesh we must learn to rebuke Satan right away. The word continues to build and show us ourselves so that we have the chance to be closer to Yahweh. We are taught by the grace of God how we should be as a wife and mother. Learning to completely give ourselves to our Lords whom is our husband in all things. We sometimes tend to try to hold on to a little power in our marriage. When I say power I am speaking of whatever that thing might be in your life that would cause you to question back to your Lord. I have found myself on that side where I tried to hold on to a little power. The truth is if I can't let go completely I would be missing out of being a true daughter of Sarah. Our husband's should have complete authority in all things he should be able to rule is house in confidence not fearing to upset his wife. We the daughters of Sarah should know and accept that he has the final word in all things and that whatever might be wrong in his judgement our God will show him of his ways without the help of the wife's opinion.
   If there are things you see in your Lord that you do not agree with or would love for him to come up to, it is better to pray and talk to the Yahweh about it. Allow Yahweh to see you through and work it out for you because putting this into practice will show you your faith. This will also allow for you to truly see the power of God and that he does not forsaken us.
